Welcome! We are a community church, formed as a ‘Local Ecumenical Partnership’ from the Anglican and Methodist traditions, with Christians from just about all denominational backgrounds and none.
At our core, we are a church for all ages and stages, where we can be one in Christ, grow as disciples and serve the community.
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30, except on the first Sunday in the month when we gather at 10am for our Families @ Christchurch Together service and have a second service at 11.15am (there are no children’s groups at this second service). Click here for a map of where we are.
We strive to make things open and accessible, especially for those who have no church background.
We currently provide mental wellbeing courses (LLTTF), Bereavement courses, a café for anyone who has been bereaved (however recently or long ago), midweek communion followed by coffee/lunch, Little Fish (our 0-4 toddler group), Alpha, Any Questions, Sunday Youth Church, Monday youth group, midweek Bible study groups for teens, homegroups and much more.
We also have good links with our local schools and nurseries with visits all year round, Easter and Christmas celebrations here at Christchurch and a midweek Christian Union in our local secondary school. We have also partnered with TLG (Transforming Lives for Good), a charity that trains church members to come alongside and support struggling primary school-aged children.
We would love to hear from you if you would like to get in touch and/or receive our weekly e-newsletter.
Find out more on the “I’m new” page under the “About Us” at the top of this page, or message us via the contact page.
Our Sunday sermons are available for listening from our sermons page.
Christchurch is funded through donations. If you are able and would like to help fund our work within the community, you can donate online as a once-off or as a regular giver. Please see our giving page for more information.
‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’
