Why Do We Give?

Our commitment to God, His Church, each other and the community we are called to serve.  Talking about money in church is often considered unseemly, distasteful or even un-Christian, but the bible makes our responsibilities very clear.

‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’

2 Corinthians 9:7

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can gift aid your donation, allowing us to claim an extra 25p for every pound.
Click on the “giftaid it” icon above for a form, and return it to Roz Hime or Tina Mostert (ccfinancegiving@gmail.com) or pick up a Gift Aid form from the back of the church.

If you can give regularly, this helps Christchurch plan for the future, and offer commitments to more projects. Please visit our regular donation page to find out how you can set up a standing order or direct debit.
