Evangelical Alliance

Christchurch is now a member of the Evangelical Alliance

The Evangelical Alliance exists to serve and strengthen the work of the church in communities and throughout society. It seeks to resource Christians so that they are able to act upon their faith in Jesus, to speak up for the gospel, justice and freedom in their areas of influence.

The Evangelical Alliance is made up of hundreds of organisations, thousands of churches and tens of thousands of individuals, joined together for the sake of the gospel. Founded in 1846, the Evangelical Alliance is the oldest and largest evangelical unity movement in the UK.

The ECC recently decided to seek church membership of the Evangelical Alliance, and this has now been processed. It joins us with others throughout the UK, adds to the national evangelical voice, gives us access to resources and puts us on the EA online church finder, making it easier for people to find us as a church that holds evangelical values.
