Calling All Green Fingered Gardening Enthusiasts!!! Christchurch Needs You!

After months of lockdown, we are trying to organise a few days over the next few months to do a few garden/ grounds jobs to tidy up and improve our outside space so we can gather together more socially and use the grounds more.

Various members of the congregation already kindly go up to clear leaves and chop back the overgrowth, but it would make such a difference if we could get a working party together to do some of these jobs.

The first date we have booked is Monday 23 August from 10am-3pm. Drinks and snacks will be provided, but please bring your lunch with you.

We have some tools, but if you have tools that can be used for pruning, cutting back trees and bushes, clearing leaves, weeding etc please bring them with you too.

We would really value your help, be it for 2 hours, 4 hours or all day!!! We are hoping that this will be a productive and fun day that will make our outdoor space even more special than it already is.

Although you can just turn up on the day, it would be helpful to let Rev Suzy know beforehand so she knows how many snacks to buy!
